Nasty Gal Rebrand

Project Description

A rebrand of Nasty Gal, which started in 2006 as a vintage resale page on eBay, later expanding into its own brand that targeted young adult females with an edgy yet trendy style. This design was strongly focused on the word “edgy”. The imperfections and errors end up being the spotlight of the design, making it vintage and trendy like the clothing brand. By implementing the scribble feature in the logo, I was able to create an edgy look that isn’t overpowering the typography and other design features.
